Introduction
Heart is a blood-pumping organ, in bees actually hemolymph pumping organ. Bee heart is pretty diferent than human heart. It consists of five connected chambers and it is located in upper part of abdomen. Heart is pumping hemolymph through only one main aorta directly to the bee head. Bees have so called open cardiovascular system. Hemolymph from head trough the body flowing; and body organs literally swim in hemolymph. Hemolymph is from body organs again pumped to the aorta in one continous process. Hemolymph is in yellow color, not red like humans blood due the missing of hemoglobin.
